At the beginning of this post, I asked if Wealthy Affiliate was just another scam, over-hyped, or is it the best affiliate marketing training around. A scam is when somebody rips you off, takes your money, and then gives you absolutely nothing in return.
How can WA be a scam, when it doesn’t cost you a thing to join, and you don’t have to give out any credit card or personal information? There are always going to be haters who say that Wealthy Affiliate is a scam because it never helped them achieve their financial goals. When in reality, when it’s all said and done, these people just didn’t do what is needed and required to achieve the success they were looking for.
Did they really try? Who knows. Maybe they were still stuck in the get-rich-quick scheme mode.
If you had a business coach, or a personal mentor who was successful in their own business or line of work, and they offered to show you exactly what steps are needed for you to become successful too, would you take them up on the offer?
I’m sure you would in a heartbeat. But who’s fault will it be if you don’t listen to them or follow the exact steps that were needed?
It’s always much easier to blame someone else for things not working out, rather than looking into the mirror.
So no, Wealthy Affiliate is not in anyway a scam!
But is it over-hyped? If I have to be honest, I would say yes it seems that way. But it’s only because it really is a great training program for anyone looking to jump into the online business world, especially for a beginner with no previous experience. You don’t need to go any further than this article that you are reading right now to understand what the hype is all about.
Are You Guaranteed To Succeed?
Sorry, the answer is no. No business of any kind is ever guaranteed to succeed, especially an online business.
How much money you and your business ultimately makes will be based on your level of commitment, and how much effort you put into running your business.
But, Wealthy Affiliate will absolutely teach you the proven techniques and the complete framework for building an online business, but in the end, you and only you will determine if you succeed or fail.
My Recommendation To You
I would kind of compare the Wealthy Affiliate membership to purchasing a new car. You would never buy a car without driving it first to see if you like it would you? Maybe some people would, but I surely wouldn’t.
Alright, so that maybe that wasn’t the perfect example, but you get what I’m trying to say. Anyway, my recommendation would be for you to create an account for the starter membership with absolutely zero risk or future obligation on your part, and give that starter membership a free test drive. (see, I guess the car/starter membership analogy did tie in together after all)
Once you become a starter member, feel free to look around inside of the WA platform for as long as you wish and see how you like it, because your membership will never expire.
On top of that, I would highly encourage you to complete the 1st level in the Online Entrepreneur Certification course, and then if you like what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer, then you can decide if the premium membership would be better suited for your future business needs.
Even though I think that the premium membership is worth every penny, you would be silly not to try out the free starter plan first to see what WA has to offer.

Wealthy affiliate seem to be the best step i have taken in building myself and writing abilities, the training and resources they make available on the daily basis is superb, the wonderful community which is always there to help people through difficult situation is really amazing, my only regret is not knowing sooner, but hey! better late than never is way cool, thanks for sharing.

Wow, I must say this really is a fantastic wealthy affiliate review, anyone reading will know exactly what to expect if they join wealthy affiliate, but most of all I like the fact that your review is so openly honest, I like the fact that there is a free membership option which acts as a kind of try before you buy opportunity, you can join up and see for yourself what it’s all about before you commit yourself to paying anything, which is great, I would certainly encourage anyone to give wealthy affiliate a try, I would also encourage people to read your excellent review first because you have covered absolutely everything, thank you for sharing.

Wealthu Affiliate is a pillar in affiliate marketing. A few months ago, I didn’t know anything about this company until I tried this platform. Once I became a starter, it is when I realized that I was lucky enough to find it instead of other affiliate marketing company. The way they execute training and webinars is commendable and I have learned the nitty gritty of this business because of them. Never in my life have I imagined that I can make my own website, do SEO, and make use of keyword search in my content writing.
The community is very supportive and encouraging that’s why after a week I upgraded into premium membership. SO far I have seen a lot of success stories on WA< and it’s nice that most people and members are aware that this line of work requires time, effort and input, and is not a get-rich-quick scheme (which unfortunately is abundant these days). Again, you do have to put a lot of work in WA. Once that’s established, success will follow.

You even explained the weekly webinars that Jay provides and threw in some awesome examples of very successful people within WA. What I really liked was at the beginning how you mentioned that the success of one person is only up to them and no one else!
